Christian J. Robinson: About

I grew up in Orem, Utah (In the USA) with three brothers and one sister. I happened to be born in the middle, which isn't as bad as people might want you to believe.

I'm now 30 years old, and still living with my parents in Idaho Falls. It's a nice place to live, especially since it's about 45 minutes from a famous geographical landmark, Craters of the Moon.

I deal with MCS/EI (Multiple Chemical Sensitivities/Environmental Illness). If you personally know me and interact with me, it would be a good idea to read An Open Letter to those without chronic illness. Note that I did not write this, and I do not have permission to copy and change it to put a version on my own web site (see the bottom of the page). However, with only one or two exceptions, this applies to me.

I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Politically I consider myself a Jeffersonian Liberal, which many consider to be just a fancy way to say Conservative, but it's not.

My favorite foods are pizza and lasagne. My favorite movies are The Princess Bride and The Incredibles. My favorite TV shows are CSI, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Outer Limits and Babylon 5. My favorite books are The Rowan by Anne McCaffrey, Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, Ticktock by Dean Koontz, Snow Crash & The Diamond Age by Neal Stephenson, and The Honor Harrington series & In Fury Born by David Weber. My favorite song is "I Don't Know" by Celine Dion. My favorite actor is Johnny Depp, my favorite actress is Sandra Bullock. Finally, my favorite color is red.

My hobbies include spending way too much time on the internet, which includes IRC (#Vim on FreeNode, and #TurnThePage on DALnet), MUSH/MUX (mainly Ashirion and MyrkaMUX). I enjoy Programming—usually Perl. I used to enjoy role playing games, such as Hero Games, but I was never particularly good at it. I can spend all day playing with Lego. Of course, I almost always listen to music.
